Who are the 21st Century Skills Integration Coaches? Martha Barley, Jeanne Beaver, Jeff Elliott, Toby Fischer, Andrea Lusk, and Alexa Stazenski. The 21st century integration coaches model and coach staff in ways to teach and integrate 21st century skills into their content--and use technology to do so. The skill coaches work with the Educational and Operational Technology Departments to facilitate and coordinate staff development activities, and communicate with administrators and staff.

Upper Arlington staff is deep in the process of integrating 21st century learning in every classroom, and Ken Kay, noted national figure in 21st century education, is an active partner in our initiative. We are focusing on the skill of complex thinking--higher order thinking abilities and problem-solving. The coaches are providing focused professional development for all staff in complex thinking.
